Music Room Behavior Chart

I needed a way to accurately record behavior in my classroom.

My Challenge:
Since I see the students only once a week, there is no time to waste in class.  If there was a behavior issue, I would have to stop and discuss with that individual student. That takes a lot of time.  I was also looking for a way to motivate the students to participate.

Solution:
With this system I will direct the student to put their name on a "sticky note", then place it on the appropriate sign.  At the end of class, I will know what needs to be recorded in the classes behavior binder.  And, students that choose to try harder will have a positive incentive.

Behavior Chart:
I went with a music theme, Rockin' Music Time.  Each of the cards has a music reference.

Outstanding =  If a student reaches the top chart, they are allowed to fill out a reward ticket to be placed in a drawing for a prize at the end of the month.

Super = First step to greatness!

Ready = Everyone starts here at the beginning of class.
Think About It! =  This is a 1st warning level.  They will  need to make smarter choices.

OOPS! = They did not make a smart choice.  Now it is the Teacher's Choice for consequences.
All I have left to do is punch holes to add rings and hang it from the wall.
